Adventuring safely is our priority – please help us reach our goals and keep yourself and those around you focused on safe use of our facility.
Every Member and Guest at recROC MUST have a completed safety waiveron file. Waivers must be renewed every six months, and can be completed here online or in person.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
Age restrictions: Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. Children under the age of 8 may not use the Obstacle Course/Ninja Obstacle equipment without and instructor. ALL Cardio & Fitness equipment use is for Ages 14 to Adult Only.
Gear/Equipment: Appropriate footwear must be worn when utilizing training areas and equipment. Shoe and chalk rentals for bouldering are available.
Attire: Attire appropriate for active physical recreation and climbing is required. No bare feet. Follow safety guidelines for jewelry and accessories.
Waiver: All participants must sign a waiver. Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver for children under the age of 18. Participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18 years and older) at all times. Sign a WAIVER below.
Conduct: Participants must respect and properly use equipment for intended use. While climbing or using the obstacle course, no personal electronic devices may be used.
Obstacle Rigs: Participants may not climb on top of the obstacle rigs.
Bouldering Protocols: To ensure a safe and enjoyable indoor bouldering experience, participants must abide by bouldering protocols including safely ascending and descending and safety around other climbers.

Waivers are required for Members and NonMembers at recROC – youth MUST have a parent or guardian sign and submit a waiver.

Please note that recROC staff have the right to refuse entry to any person – member or guest – whom they determine to be unable to abide by safety guidelines. Refusal to abide by safety guidelines may result in dismissal from the facility, loss of Guest privileges, or loss of Membership.
